Michael A. DeNiro

Michael DeNiro is a partner in the Asset Management Department. Mr. DeNiro’s practice is focused on transactional and regulatory matters involving registered investment companies, including mutual funds and closed-end funds, business development companies and their investment advisers. Mr. DeNiro regularly advises registered funds and their sponsors on regulatory and compliance matters, as well as disclosure issues, corporate governance and other matters. He has particular experience advising on the formation, operation and distribution of interval funds and tender offer funds providing access to alternative investment strategies, including private credit and private equity. Mr. DeNiro’s accolades include being named a Rising Star by With Intelligence at the Mutual Fund & ETF Awards 2024.
