Michael DeNiro, a partner in Willkie’s Asset Management Department, has been named a Rising Star at the With Intelligence Mutual Fund & ETF Awards 2024.
He was recognized among the next-generation leaders of the mutual funds space at an awards event in New York on June 18.
Michael’s practice is focused on transactional and regulatory matters involving registered investment companies, including mutual funds and closed-end funds, business development companies and their investment advisers.
He regularly advises registered funds and their sponsors on regulatory and compliance matters, as well as disclosure issues, corporate governance and other matters. Michael has particular experience advising on the formation, operation and distribution of interval funds and tender offer funds providing access to alternative investment strategies, including private credit and private equity.
