Inclusion
People Are Our Most Valuable Asset
At Willkie, we believe that everyone benefits from an inclusive workplace. The confluence of people of different races, cultures, religions, beliefs, gender identities and sexual orientations makes for a stronger team that is more adept at creative problem-solving on behalf of our clients.

Continuing strategies to enhance inclusion.
We are particularly committed to continuing and further developing strategies to enhance inclusion on a long-term basis, including in the leadership ranks.
The Inclusion and Engagement Committee and Women’s Professional Development Committee (“WPDC”) work together to foster an inclusive Willkie community that has long celebrated the varied backgrounds and perspectives of attorneys at our firm.
The Inclusion and Engagement Committee has existed for approximately 30 years and remains an important focus of firm leadership. The Committee, chaired by Kim Walker, Chief Inclusion Officer, Intellectual Property partner and member of the firm’s Executive Committee, develops, implements and oversees the firm’s mentoring, training and other initiatives in an effort to promote and maintain an inclusive culture.
