Adam Aderton, Amelia Cottrell and A. Kristina Littman, Co-Chairs of Willkie’s Securities Enforcement Practice Group, have been named to Securities Docket’s “Enforcement Elite” for 2024. The list recognizes the best securities enforcement defense counsel in the industry.

Adam Aderton’s practice focuses on regulatory enforcement matters and white collar defense. He has particular experience in regulatory inquiries and litigation involving the asset management industry, and previously served in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement for over 14 years, including as Co-Chief of the Asset Management Unit.
Amelia Cottrell is sought by companies for her extensive experience in a range of securities enforcement proceedings and also represents individual clients in high-stakes securities matters, including criminal and regulatory investigations. Prior to joining Willkie, Amelia served at the SEC for a decade and oversaw some of the agency’s highest-profile matters as Associate Director the New York Regional Office.
Kristy, Co-Chair of both the Securities Enforcement and Willkie Digital Works Practice Groups, represents corporations, registrants and individuals in complex disputes, including regulatory enforcement and white collar defense. She also counsels clients on cryptocurrency and digital assets regulation and cybersecurity matters, including investigations and enforcement actions by financial regulators. Kristy also joined Willkie from the SEC, where she served as Chief of the Crypto Assets and Cyber Unit.
