Alex Calabro is an associate in the Energy & Commodities Practice Group. Her area of work covers transactional and regulatory matters in connection with energy, commodities, and derivatives law.
Alex represents clients in a variety of energy and commodity transactions, as well as commodity derivative transactions, including offtake arrangements, physically and financially-settled hedging transactions, and transactions involving the purchase and sale of renewable energy credits and other environmental attributes.
Alex regularly advises clients on a range of energy market issues, including regulatory and transactional matters under the jurisdiction of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission as well as the market rules of regional transmission organizations and independent system operators. Alex also has experience representing clients in derivatives regulatory matters under the jurisdiction of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
