Willkie served as acquisition and financing counsel to Davidson Kempner Capital Management LP on its acquisition, supported by operating partner Afendis Capital Management, of ice cream producer YSCO from Milcobel.
On January 8, Davidson Kempner announced the completion of its acquisition of YSCO through Glacier, its ice cream investments platform backed by Davidson Kempner and Afendis. Glacier unites leading producers YSCO and Gelato d'Italia, creating one of the world's largest third-party ice cream manufacturers.
