Willkie and its attorneys have been named among the honorees and finalists in multiple categories at the upcoming 2025 California Legal Awards, presented by Law.com and The Recorder. The recognitions highlight Willkie’s growth as a market leader in California and its accomplishments in both cutting-edge litigation and transactions.
Two Willkie partners have been named among the honorees:
- Alex Weingarten, Managing Partner of Willkie’s Los Angeles office and Chair of the firm’s Entertainment Litigation Practice, has been recognized as one of the year’s “Distinguished Leaders”
- Simona Agnolucci, Managing Partner of the San Francisco office and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, has been recognized as one of the “Women Leaders in Tech Law – Litigation”
Willkie and its lawyers have been named as finalists for:
- “Law Firm of the Year”
- “Vanguard Award” (recognizes firms for innovation and leadership in the business of law)
- “Office Managing Partner of the Year” - Benedict Hur, partner in the Litigation Department and Managing Partner of Willkie’s San Francisco office, for
- “Real Estate Lawyer of the Year” - Misty Sanford, Chair, Real Estate – West Coast
The honorees and finalists will be recognized at an awards event in Los Angeles on June 25, 2025.
