Alex Weingarten, Managing Partner of Willkie’s Los Angeles office and Chair of the firm’s Entertainment Litigation Practice, has been recognized as a “2025 Legal Visionary” by LA Times Studios.
Alex was again named among the market-leading lawyers in the Los Angeles region who stand out for their “commitment to their practice, their firm and the community at large.” He was profiled in Business, LA Times Studios’ magazine, as one of the entertainment industry’s top litigators and trial attorneys and as a leader in the broader business community. This is the third year in a row that Alex has been named a “Legal Visionary.”
Business magazine noted Alex’s success overseeing the launch and growth of Willkie’s L.A. office, which opened in September 2021 and now numbers approximately 100 attorneys, ranking among the city’s largest firms. The publication also highlighted his work to create the Willkie Los Angeles Foundation, which has partnered with Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services to help establish a youth substance abuse treatment center. In addition, the profile noted Alex’s service on the boards of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, nonprofit law firm Bet Tzedek, and the California Legislative Jewish Caucus PAC.
