Partner Craig C. Martin, Chairman, Midwest, has been named to Crain’s Chicago Business’s Who’s Who 2025, an annual guide to the notable leaders of the Chicago business community.

Craig was once again recognized as one of the city’s foremost lawyers and civic leaders in Crain’s “authoritative guide to power in Chicago.” He is one of only 22 honorees in the legal industry section of the Who’s Who guide. This is the third year in a row that Craig has received the accolade.

A member of Willkie’s Executive Committee, Craig is widely recognized as a top trial lawyer and counsel to marquee clients, including major Chicago companies and some of the nation’s most influential families. He led the opening of Willkie’s Chicago office in March 2020 and has quickly established it as a market leader, building a diverse team of approximately 100 attorneys.

Crain’s noted Craig’s focus on civic engagement, including his service on the boards of the Aspen Institute, the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. He is also a member of the Lyric Opera of Chicago board of directors, its Executive Committee and chairs its Nominating and Governance Committee. Additionally, Craig is a member of the Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago, the Economic Club of Chicago and the National Association of Corporate Directors, among other appointments.
