Sara Tonnies Horton, Co-Chair of Willkie’s IP Litigation Practice Group, has been named among the “2024 Women In Law: Leaders Leaning In” honorees by Chicago Lawyer and Law Bulletin Media. The award recognizes Sara’s professional excellence and commitment to advancing women in the law.
Sara is widely acclaimed for her leadership and achievements in complex patent disputes and technology-related litigation matters. She has extensive experience in major cases before trial courts across the country as well as the Federal Circuit and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Chicago Lawyer’s award supplement noted her first-chair trial skills – she teaches trial advocacy at Harvard Law School – and a record of success that includes several high-stakes trials in recent years.
