Andrés Cantero Jr., an associate in Willkie’s Real Estate Department, has been recognized as one of the leading real estate attorneys in California at Connect CRE’s “2024 Lawyers in Real Estate Awards.”
Andrés was honored for his accomplishments in complex commercial real estate transactions and his contributions to the larger Los Angeles community. Connect CRE noted his recent work as a member of the Willkie team that represented Paramount Group and its affiliates in connection with a $200 million mezzanine loan investment in 1285 Avenue of the Americas, an office tower in Midtown Manhattan.
Connect CRE also highlighted Andrés’s civic engagement, including his role serving on the boards of the Stanford Alumni Association, the Stanford Professionals in Real Estate, and the Mexican American Bar Foundation. He is also a founding member and serves on the board of the Los Angeles Room & Board, a nonprofit that provides affordable transitional housing to community college students with housing insecurity.
