Willkie has been named among the “Top 100 Law Firms 2024,” a list of the leading law firms in Los Angeles based on attorney head count, and was recognized as a “Top 25” firm in both the Corporate and Real Estate practice areas by LA Times Studios and Publishing.
Willkie ranked #22 among the largest law firms in Los Angeles, highlighting the steady growth of the L.A. office as a market leader under managing partner Alex Weingarten. In addition, the publication ranked Willkie #15 among the top Corporate practices and #23 for Real Estate, noting the leadership of Alan Epstein, Chair of the firm’s Entertainment Transactions Practice, and Misty Sanford, West Coast Chair of the Real Estate Department.
Established in 2021, Willkie’s Los Angeles office has grown to approximately 100 lawyers and developed a broad platform focused on corporate and M&A transactions, private equity, private wealth, real estate, tax and litigation. The office recently launched the Willkie Los Angeles Foundation and partnered with Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services in order to help establish a new substance abuse disorder treatment center for children ages 12-17.
