Kim Walker, Willkie’s Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, has been recognized among the Notable Black Leaders of 2024 by Crain’s New York Business.
Kim, who is also Chair of Willkie’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, a partner in the Intellectual Property Department and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, was recognized for her leadership and achievements in promoting diversity in the law. Crain’s named her among the “pacesetters” of the New York business community, highlighting her work to cultivate the careers of Willkie’s attorneys and advance inclusion in the firm’s partnership ranks.
The publication noted that Willkie has been recognized by the Women in Law Empowerment Forum for its commitment to advancing women to leadership positions. The firm also ranked 8th in The American Lawyer’s 2024 Diversity Scorecard, among other accolades, further establishing Willkie among the very top firms industrywide for diversity, equity and inclusion.
