The National Women’s Law Center (NWLC) has named Willkie to the 2024 Pro Bono Honor Roll for its extensive work with the organization to advocate for underrepresented women and their families and advance gender justice.
Willkie has been recognized among NWLC’s most exemplary pro bono partners for its contributions over the 2023-2024 fiscal year. The honorees have either taken on three or more discrete NWLC pro bono projects, devoted 30 hours or more to pro bono projects, or have provided ongoing pro bono counsel to the organization in that time.
The award highlights Willkie’s longstanding partnership with NWLC – partner Elizabeth Bower is a member of NWLC’s Leadership Advisory Committee – and recognizes the firm’s broad commitment to providing pro bono legal advice and support to underserved individuals, communities and organizations.
