Willkie’s Intellectual Property Department has been named to ChIPs Network’s 2024 Honor Roll for excellence in gender inclusion.
ChIPs recognized Willkie among the leaders in IP law that “understand the benefits of inclusion and represent the best of the legal profession.” The award highlights Willkie’s commitment to gender inclusion as well as its broader effort to support the success of all of its attorneys.
Willkie is one of just seven Honor Roll firms selected for excellence in inclusion. The firm will be recognized during the ChIPs Global Summit, Oct. 16-18 in Washington, DC. As part of the award, Sara Tonnies Horton, Co-Chair of Willkie’s IP Litigation Practice Group, will be profiled on her leadership and the advancement of women in the field. Aliza George Carrano, a partner in the Patent Litigation Practice and ChIPs DC Chapter Leader, will accept the award on behalf of Willkie.
ChIPs Honor Roll is produced every other year in partnership with Diversity Lab. It is based on Diversity Lab’s unique Inclusion Blueprint outcomes, which scores top law firms on demographics tracking, diversity representation, and ongoing inclusion practices firmwide and within practice groups.
ChIPs Network is a nonprofit organization representing more than 7,000 members in 30 regional chapters in North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific and Africa. ChIPs advances and connects women in technology, law and policy, and accelerates innovation through diversity of thought and engagement.
