Partner Anna Martini G. Pereira has been named among the finalists for “Young Lawyer of the Year – Corporate” at The American Lawyer 2024 Industry Awards.
She is one of eight attorneys under the age of 40 recognized as finalists for their excellence in corporate transactions and leadership in the law. The finalists will be honored at an event in New York City on November 13, when the award winner will also be announced.
Anna, who serves as Chair of Willkie’s Latin America Practice Group, is recognized for her innovative approach to client service and business development, which has been instrumental in driving the practice’s success. She recently led the firm’s representation of Ferrara Candy Company, the largest sugar confections company in the U.S., in its acquisition of Dori Alimentos, one of Brazil’s leading manufacturers and distributors of sweets and snacks. She also has advised Italian technology company Bending Spoons on several transactions in the last year alone, including its acquisitions of Issuu, Evernote, Meetup and StreamYard.
