Willkie has been ranked 8th in the 2024 Diversity Scorecard by The American Lawyer, recognizing the racial and ethnic diversity of its lawyers at every level and highlighting the firm’s commitment to the development and advancement of all of its attorneys.
The ranking further establishes Willkie among the very top firms for diversity, equity and inclusion in the Am Law 200. The annual industry survey not only takes into account the percentage of minority attorneys overall, but also factors in the diversity of the partner and leadership ranks.
The Diversity Scorecard ranks law firms based on an aggregate score across three separate categories evaluating racial and ethnic diversity across lawyer head count by role; the diversity of the Executive Committee and office and practice leadership; and the hiring, retention and promotion of diverse talent.
