Willkie partners Koren (Kori) Bell and Michele Mulrooney have been named to Los Angeles Business Journal’s “2024 Women of Influence: Attorneys,” an annual supplement recognizing the foremost women practitioners in the L.A. market.
They were among the honorees recognized for “exceptional legal skill and achievement…exemplary leadership as evidenced by the highest professional and ethical standards, and for contributions to the Los Angeles community at large.”
Kori Bell, a partner in Willkie’s Litigation Department, was recognized among the leading white-collar defense and trial attorneys nationwide. Kori’s practice focuses on high-stakes trials, white-collar criminal defense, complex commercial litigation, government and internal investigations, and regulatory enforcement matters.
Michele Mulrooney, Chair of Willkie’s Private Wealth Group in Los Angeles, was recognized as leading trusts and estates lawyer. The publication noted that she has more than 30 years’ experience representing high-net-worth individuals and families in sophisticated estate planning matters, including the preservation of generational wealth, establishing and advising private foundations, conservatorships and guardianships, as well as post-death administration of estates and trusts, cross-border planning for multinational clients, and insurance issues.
