Neesa Patel Sood, partner in Willkie’s Asset Management Department, has been named to the “2024 Emerging Women Leaders in Law” by DCA Live.
She was selected among “the great women attorneys in the Washington region who are emerging as leaders within their firms and the broader DC legal community.”
Neesa has been recognized for her achievements in the law and leadership in community service. She counsels registered funds and their independent board members, as well as investment advisers, across a wide range of complex regulatory, compliance, fund governance, operational and transaction-related matters. She is also committed to pro bono advocacy and civic engagement. Her leadership includes serving on the Board of Directors of Horton’s Kids, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering children growing up in D.C.’s most under-resourced communities. The organization is the current principal grantee of The Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP Greater DC Community Foundation.
The honorees will be recognized at an event in Washington, D.C., on May 7.
