Alan Epstein, Chair of Willkie’s Entertainment Transactions Practice, has been named to Variety’s Legal Impact Report 2024, an annual series recognizing Hollywood’s top lawyers.
Alan was again recognized among the foremost dealmakers in the entertainment and media industry. Variety noted his recent succession of high-profile deals, a record that includes advising Brillstein Entertainment Partners, leading top entertainment management and production company, in its sale to Wasserman Media Group as well as Hyphenate Media Group, a production studio focused on multicultural content founded by actor-director-producer Eva Longoria and entertainment executive Cris Abrego, in its strategic partnership with Banijay.
The profile also highlighted Alan’s representation of Ryan Reynolds as part owner of Mint Mobile in the company’s sale to T-Mobile. He also recently advised Plan B Entertainment, the production company co-founded and led by Brad Pitt, in its partnership with Mediawan.
