Britt Mosman, Co-Chair of Willkie’s Global Trade & Investment Practice Group in Washington, has been named to Foreign Investment Watch’s Top Advisors 2024. The annual list recognizes the foremost advisors on Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) matters and leaders “at the nexus of national security and foreign investment.”
Foreign Investment Watch again selected Britt – she was also a 2023 honoree – among the 32 top professionals in the field for her work advising global financial institutions and multinational companies on economic sanctions, compliance and enforcement matters related to CFIUS, the Bank Secrecy Act, anti-money laundering, and export controls.
The publication noted her experience at the forefront of the industry and deep knowledge of leading-edge issues, including non-notified transactions involving Russian parties and regulatory compliance for crypto sector participants. The profile also highlighted her experience advising on high-profile, high-stakes enforcement proceedings.
Britt previously served as an Attorney-Advisor in the Office of the Chief Counsel, advising the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control. While at OFAC, Britt focused on economic sanctions and national security issues, including as a lead attorney on the Iran, Ukraine/Russia, Cuba, Syria, Election Interference, and cyber-related sanctions programs.
Foreign Investment Watch is an independent information service covering foreign investment and national security, from CFIUS filings to global regulatory updates.
