Willkie has been recognized for advising Odinsa S.A. on the creation of an infrastructure partnership with Macquarie Asset Management to manage its Colombia road assets, which has been named “Deal of the Year: M&A” at The Legal 500 Colombia Awards 2024.
Willkie represented Odinsa, a leading developer of South American transportation projects and subsidiary of Grupo Argos, in its sale of a 50% stake in certain of its toll road assets in Colombia to a Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) fund and the formation of a new infrastructure platform.
The award-winning transportation infrastructure partnership is one of the largest in Latin America. Following the success of the toll road assets deal, Willkie also represented Odinsa in the expansion of the partnership with MAM into the airport sector in Colombia and Ecuador.
The Willkie team advising Odinsa on the creation of the investment platform with MAM for the Colombia toll road assets was led by partners Maria-Leticia Ossa Daza and Jorge Kamine and included associates Pablo Benjumea Gutierrez and Christian Vidaurre.
