Willkie partners Todd Cosenza and Michael Gottlieb have been named to the 2024 Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America, a guide to the top practitioners nationwide.
They were recognized among Lawdragon’s “500 lawyers of the year” for their leadership and accomplishments at the forefront of the industry. The series honors the preeminent lawyers in the U.S. across a broad range of practice areas and disciplines.
Todd Cosenza, Co-Chair of Willkie’s Securities Litigation Practice Group, was again recognized as one of the nation’s top practitioners in the “Securities Litigation” category. Todd’s practice focuses on complex financial litigation, and his record of success includes numerous landmark shareholder class actions. He was previously honored in the 2023 leading lawyers guide as well as the 2024 500 Leading Litigators in America.
Michael Gottlieb, Co-Chair of the Media & First Amendment Practice Group and a member of Willkie’s Executive Committee, was honored in the area of “Litigation, including First Amendment.” Michael was spotlighted for recently securing a $148 million verdict in the landmark defamation suit brought against Rudy Giuliani by Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss. Lawdragon previously recognized him among the 2024 500 Leading Litigators in America.
