Alex Weingarten, managing partner of Willkie’s Los Angeles office and Chair of the firm’s Entertainment Litigation Practice, has been shortlisted for “Entertainment Litigator of the Year” at the Benchmark Litigation US Awards 2024.
Alex’s recent achievements include a tentative settlement for client Selena Gomez in a lawsuit against the developers of the game Clothes Forever for the unauthorized use of the entertainer’s name and likeness. Additionally, Alex represents Zhengfu Pictures in a dispute valued at approximately $50 million over the distribution rights to World War II films Greyhound and Destroyer.
