Willkie has been named among the winners of the “Most Effective Pro Bono Partnership” award at the LawWorks 2023 UK Pro Bono Awards for its work as a founding member of the Green Tech Legal Collaborative (GTLC), in partnership with Bloomberg L.P. and other leading law firms.
GTLC is in its third year of providing pro bono legal support for Greentech start-ups from Imperial College’s Enterprise Lab in the early stages of their development. The program helps facilitate the development and delivery to market of new ideas and technologies to address climate change and promote sustainability.
LawWorks is a charity in that supports and facilitates pro bono legal services in England and Wales for individuals and communities in need and the organizations that assist them. The LawWorks 2023 UK Pro Bono Awards recognized the pro bono commitment of LawWorks members and supporters and the contributions of independent clinics in the LawWorks clinics network.
