Alex Weingarten, Managing Partner of Willkie’s Los Angeles office, was awarded the Bruce I. Hochman Maimonides Torch of Justice Award by The Jewish Federation of Los Angeles. Alex was presented with this award at the Jewish Federation Gala event, held in Los Angeles on November 13. Among those gathered to honor Alex and his commitment to the community was Second Gentleman of the United States, Douglas Emhoff, who spoke at the event.
As a member of the Board of Directors of The Jewish Federation of Los Angeles, Alex is a passionate advocate for the Federation, dedicating his time and expertise to various leadership roles. His contributions have been instrumental in fostering unity among diverse communities. Alex is also a member of the Board of Directors of Bet Tzedek, a leading Pro Bono legal services organization and the Board of Trustees of the Junior Statesman Foundation.
