Jonathan A. Patchen, a litigation partner and first-chair trial attorney based in Willkie’s San Francisco office, has been named among the “Top Trade Secrets Lawyers 2023” by Daily Journal.
Daily Journal selected Jonathan as one of the “best attorneys focusing on trade secrets matters such as unfair competition and employee mobility” in California. The publication noted Jonathan’s experience advising prominent companies in an array of technology-related disputes, including high-stakes cases on the leading edge of trade secrets law.
The publication highlighted Jonathan’s work at the forefront of the field and the insight he provides into emerging trends, including the business implications of evolving trade secret protections. “With pressure on non-competes/non-solicits coming from all directions (the FTC, state legislatures, antitrust laws), employee mobility across the country is likely to start looking more and more like California,” Jonathan told Daily Journal. “The law in many jurisdictions will need to catch up.”
