The Recorder has named partner Eduardo Santacana among the 2023 “Lawyers on the Fast Track,” an annual award recognizing the standout legal leaders in California under age 40.
Eduardo was recognized as a next-generation star as part of the California Legal Awards, which celebrate the achievements of the attorneys, law firms and companies at the forefront of the technology industry. He will be honored among the award winners at an event in San Francisco on November 2.
Eduardo is a leading litigator based in Willkie’s San Francisco office who regularly represents public entities and major technology companies in complex commercial disputes, including consumer class actions and contract disputes, as well as intellectual property litigation.
The Recorder recognized his achievements in high-stakes litigation for clients including LinkedIn, Arista Networks and Facebook, as well as his civic leadership, pro bono service and impact as a mentor to up-and-coming attorneys. As a hiring partner in Willkie’s San Francisco office, Eduardo has had a key role in the success of the office, which has steadily grown to a diverse team of 45 lawyers since its launch in 2019.
In addition to excelling in complex commercial litigation, Eduardo is a leader in the San Francisco community and a devoted pro bono advocate for asylum seekers, inmates and other underrepresented individuals. He serves on the Board of Directors of Urban Alchemy and was closely involved in Willkie’s partnership with the nonprofit to build a neighborhood park and activity center in downtown San Francisco.
