Partners Joe Kaczorowski and Ray LaSoya have been named among the 2023 “Leaders of Influence: Private Equity, Investors & Advisors” by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
The supplement recognizes notable professionals and thought leaders across the private equity space in Los Angeles. LABJ highlighted Joe and Ray for their work advising some of the city’s premier private equity sponsors on their most significant transactions. Joe and Ray have excelled at the forefront of the market and contributed to the rapid growth of Willkie’s Los Angeles office, which launched in 2021 and now numbers more than 80 attorneys.
Joe Kaczorowski concentrates his practice on counseling private equity and venture capital funds and their portfolio companies, as well as strategic acquirers and operating companies, on mergers and acquisitions, growth equity and venture capital transactions, as well as day-to-day general corporate needs. LABJ noted his recent work advising Platinum Equity in its acquisition of a majority interest in Tarter Farm and Ranch Equipment and for representing The Chernin Group in its investment in the Premier Lacrosse League.
Ray LaSoya is a leading deal lawyer with diverse experience guiding private equity investors and their portfolio companies, as well as public and private companies, in complex transactions and in their day-to-day legal affairs. LABJ highlighted Ray’s recent work advising Shamrock Capital Advisors in its investment in VidMob, the leading platform for Intelligent Creative.
