Two deals on which Willkie advised have been recognized among the top cross-border transactions of the year at the IFLR Americas Awards 2023.
The São Paulo Metro Line 6 project, named “Project Finance Deal of the Year,” is the largest public-private infrastructure project under construction in Latin America. Willkie advised STOA Infra & Energy, a leading impact investor in infrastructure and energy, on its acquisition of an equity stake in the project company that is carrying out the Line 6 concession contract.

The Advanced Clean Energy Storage project (ACES Delta) in Utah won the “Net-Zero Transition Award.” Willkie represented Haddington Ventures in the creation of an equity syndication program for the construction of the world’s largest green hydrogen platform.
