Willkie’s Chicago office has again been recognized among the largest law firms in Illinois – and one of the fastest-growing – by Chicago Lawyer Magazine.
The publication highlighted the rapid growth of the Chicago office since its launch in March 2020, noting that it gained 20 lawyers in the last year alone and continues to expand. Led by Craig C. Martin, Chairman, Midwest, the Chicago office now has more than 75 lawyers and has established itself as a destination for leading talent and clients alike. Willkie is now ranked #49 on the list, up 27 spots and 27% in total attorneys from last year.
“All we’re doing by growing is getting the right configuration and the right talent in order to serve our clients and folks that come to us for their problems,” Craig told Chicago Lawyer.
The Chicago office has extensive experience in trials and appeals, major investigations, board governance counseling as well as a preeminent Private Clients practice and transactional capabilities, including leading private equity and finance attorneys.
