Partners Michele Mulrooney and Kathy Wunderli have been named to The Hollywood Reporter’s 2022 “Power Lawyers: Troubleshooters” and profiled among the entertainment industry’s top trust and estates lawyers.
The Troubleshooters feature recognizes 35 leading criminal attorneys and family or trusts and estates lawyers who “help entertainment’s A-listers fix their problems without fanfare.”
The Hollywood Reporter noted Michele’s success as Chair of Willkie’s Private Clients Group in Los Angeles and her role in helping to grow the office at the forefront of the market. The publication also highlighted her work advising high-net-worth individuals on sophisticated estate planning and how to create a meaningful legacy.
Kathy was recognized for her work advising successful families and individuals on tax matters, including estate planning, trust administration and pre-marital and post-marital agreements. The article also noted her role advising clients in their philanthropic activities, and building customized charitable plans around their personal values.
The Hollywood Reporter also noted Kathy’s role on the board of the California Women’s Law Center, and how grateful she is as a woman in elite legal practice for “[t]he women who have come before me – for opening doors and changing the systems that are exclusionary.”
