Willkie has been named a 2022 Compass Award winner by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) for its continued efforts to enhance diversity and inclusion in the law.
The annual award recognizes the law firms and corporations across the business community that have demonstrated a strong commitment to building more diverse organizations and a more inclusive legal profession. Willkie has received the Compass Award numerous times in recent years.
Willkie fulfilled several criteria to be eligible for a Compass Award, including participation in LCLD’s mentoring, professional development and pipeline programs for diverse talent. In addition, Willkie Chairman Matthew Feldman joined the LCLD’s “Leaders at the Front” campaign, a coalition of law firm leaders and general counsel who are driving for greater diversity, equity and inclusion in the legal industry.
LCLD is one of the nation’s leading organizations promoting diversity and consists of more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are committed to advancing diversity in the U.S. legal profession and promoting the next generation of diverse attorneys to leadership roles.
