Jenny is recognized among the female lawyers at the forefront of the deal market.
Partner Jenny G. Liu has been named to The Deal’s “Top Women in Dealmaking 2022,” a list of the female attorneys who are setting the standard for excellence in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, restructuring and activist investing.
Jenny, a Palo Alto-based partner in Willkie’s Corporate & Financial Services Department and the Private Equity Practice Group, is among the top women nationwide recognized for their “ability to navigate complex transactions over the past 12 months while maintaining strong client relationships, and leading in and out of the boardroom.”
Jenny regularly represents private equity firms and strategic businesses in mergers and acquisitions, and dispositions of privately and publicly held businesses across a wide range of industries, in addition to a broad array of commercial issues. Her recent deals include several high-profile technology transactions. She served as lead counsel to FTV Capital and True Wind Capital, and their Sysnet platform, in numerous acquisitions, including the carve-out acquisition of SecureTrust, a leading provider of Payment Card Industry compliance, and advised Cisco Systems in its acquisition of ThousandEyes, a leading cloud-activity monitoring software provider. Jenny also recently advised Famille C, the Courtin-Clarins family holding company and owner of the Clarins brand, on its acquisition of ILIA Beauty.
