Private Equity co-chairs Jeffrey Poss and Neil Townsend’s article, “Representation and Warranty Insurance Can Be a Leg Up, but May Not Be a Silver Bullet,” was included in the Preqin Special Report: Service Providers in Alternative Assets 2021. Their article discusses RWI and when investors need, and don’t need it—offering insight on some of the key factors to be considered by private equity sponsors and their advisors. Willkie partners Andrew Gray and Erin C. Kinney co-authored the article.
Additionally, the report provided information on law firms involved in buyout deals and other types of transactions. Willkie was ranked third in the list of prominent law firms involved in private equity-backed buyout deals from 2020 to the first half of 2021.
