Lauren Waxman
Counsel, Asset Management
Lauren Waxman is counsel in the Asset Management Department and dedicates her time to the development of Firmwide platforms and initiatives focused on increasing operational efficiencies, creating shared resources and associate training for the Private Funds practice.
Lauren also has extensive experience representing sponsors in the formation and negotiation of private investment funds, with a focus on real estate and real estate-related strategies. She has also represented institutional investors in their investments in private funds.
Experience
Prior to joining Willkie in 2022, Lauren was counsel at Mayer Brown. She also previously served as the chief compliance officer and associate general counsel of an investment manager focused on real estate and mortgage finance.
