Giulio Tognazzi is partner in the Corporate & Financial Services Department.
Giulio has a wide range of experience in financing transactions, including the traditional and renewable energy, water, hydroelectric, real estate and infrastructure, acquisition and corporate finance, intellectual property and export finance sectors. His practice also includes advising on securitization transactions, the purchase and management of portfolios of claims transactions, and debt restructuring.
Giulio has considerable experience in assisting issuers, arrangers, lead managers, dealers, rating agencies, investors and advisers in connection with debt capital markets transactions, such as bond issues, exchange offers and structured finance; and in connection with finance transactions with public entities or guaranteed by public entities and European institutions.
Furthermore, he has assisted in relation to regulatory issues, including the drafting of internal policies.

- Cassa Depositi e Prestiti S.p.A. as financing institute in relation to a 1 billion Euro financing to Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. aimed at supporting the granting of long-term financings having favorable interest rate to small medium enterprises to support the development of their projects and their growth, secured by assignment by way of security of receivables originated by the on-lending activity of Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A.
- BPER Banca S.p.A., Banca Nazionale del Lavoro S.p.A. and Banco BPM S.p.A. in relation to a 120 million Euro financing to three companies belonging to the same group, split in four tranches aimed at supporting certain acquisition transactions and capex costs.
- a global bank in relation to a mortgage real estate loan in order to refinance the company’s outstanding debt and support the investment plan for the redevelopment of certain areas.
- BPER Banca S.p.A. in relation to the negotiation and execution of a facilities agreement for the purposes of financing the acquisition and subsequent development of a building for logistics purposes.

- Prelios SGR S.p.A. in relation to the negotiation and execution of a 103 million Euro facilities agreement entered into with UniCredit S.p.A. and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Europe) S.A., Milan Branch, for the purposes of financing the acquisition of a portfolio comprising land plots and logistic buildings and the relevant capex costs relating to the construction and/or refurbishment works.
