Lawrence is a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C. office, who focuses on complex civil litigation. Lawrence counsels and represents clients in defending putative and consumer class actions, navigating regulatory and internal antitrust, securities, and white collar investigations, addressing patent litigation and intellectual property disputes, and pursuing large claims in federal courts and other jurisdictions nationwide. Lawrence has significant experience drafting pleadings and substantive dispositive briefings, taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and managing all phases of discovery.

Prior to joining Willkie, Lawrence was a litigation associate at another firm. Prior to that he interned for the Honorable Amit P. Mehta in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) in the Office of Constitutional & Specialized Tort Litigation, the Maryland State Attorney’s Office’s Felony Unit, and the Offices of two U.S. Senators.
