Rodolfo E. Rivera Aquino is an associate in the Litigation Department of the firm’s San Francisco office. He has litigated various matters in California state and federal courts. Rodolfo has an interest in privacy litigation and holds a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) certification.
Rodolfo was a Senior Research Fellow at the California Constitution Center at Berkeley Law. As a Fellow, he coauthored a law review article on California’s constitutional right to privacy.
Rodolfo graduated from Berkeley Law, where he was a Senior Publishing Editor at the California Law Review. During law school, he was a judicial extern to Associate Justice Leondra R. Kruger. He was also an advanced clinical student at the Samuelson Law, Technology & Public Policy Clinic, where he assisted federal public defender offices in developing litigation strategies against law enforcement’s use of novel surveillance technologies.
Before law school, Rodolfo was a legislative aide at the California State Assembly and an analyst at the California Department of Finance.
