Melanie Medina is a partner in the Communications & Media Department. She has substantial experience representing communications, media, and Internet companies on a broad range of regulatory and transactional matters before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and other federal and state agencies. Melanie has participated in a number of FCC regulatory proceedings relating to net neutrality, spectrum policy, video programming, and navigation devices. Her wireless spectrum work involves advocacy in spectrum reallocation rulemakings and other wireless proceedings, as well as advising on spectrum auctions, FCC wireless license applications and related filings, performance requirements, and secondary-market spectrum transactions. She also advises clients on regulatory compliance matters, including those related to FCC licensing and regulatory reviews of transactions.
