Jacob Karim is an associate in the Intellectual Property Department of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in San Francisco. Jacob’s experience spans a wide array of technologies and legal doctrines, with a focus on patent litigation.  He has represented high-profile tech companies before district courts and the U.S. International Trade Commission. He has worked closely with numerous technical witnesses to prepare them for live testimony. He enjoys helping judges and juries understand complex technical issues.

Jacob earned his J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where he was the president of the Intellectual Property Law Society. He also authored a note discussing the implications of Artificial Intelligence and CRISPR technology on the patent system.
