Eilidh Brown

Eilidh Brown is an Associate in the Corporate and Financial Services department and a member of Willkie’s Insurance Transactional and Regulatory Practice Group in London.

Eilidh Brown advises insurers and reinsurers on a range of non-contentious insurance matters, with a particular focus on risk transfer transactions in the life (re)insurance sector.  Eilidh advises on the negotiation of longevity reinsurance transactions, including longevity swap structures utilising both captive and non-captive insurers, longevity reinsurance contracts (framework, standalone and “flow” structures) and the reinsurance of both asset and longevity risk, in each case including collateral structures in London or New York.

Eilidh also advises on a wide range of corporate transactions in the insurance sector, including Part VII transfers, acquisitions across the life and non-life sectors (and associated regulatory approvals), group restructurings and capital investments and associated constitutional arrangements. Eilidh is ranked as a Leading Associate in The Legal 500 UK (2025).
