Vincenza Altieri is a partner at the Rome office of Studio Legale Delfino e Associati, the Italian affiliate of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.
Vincenza is involved in both the firm's Corporate and Financial Services Department and the Private Wealth Group.
She has extensive experience in various areas of commercial law (including corporate, contracts and real estate matters) and has handled significant cross-border transactions (including joint ventures, acquisitions, mergers) both in Australia and in Italy.
She provides comprehensive and ongoing assistance to large international private equity funds investing in Italy in various sectors, and has developed a significant Australian clients desk by assisting Australian companies investing/ operating in Italy and vice versa.
She advices foreign investors on Italian FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) rules and notice filings.
She also specializes in trusts and cross-border investment structures and assists Italian and foreign high-net-worth families and their underlying operative businesses.
She is fluent in English and Italian.
Experience
Prior to joining Willkie in 2000, Vincenza Altieri served as a solicitor in the State of Victoria, Australia.
Vincenza Altieri is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria (Australia), the Italian Association of Trusts (II Trust in Italia) and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
She has lectured at the International Business Law Masters program of the University of Rome "La Sapienza” and is a frequent guest lecturer at Monash University Prato Centre.
Vincenza Altieri has been a speaker at various conferences in Italy on trusts and other vehicles addressing change of ownership and management of Italian medium-large sized Italian companies.
