Willkie is representing Dotmatics, a leading provider of life sciences R&D software and portfolio company of Insight Partners, in its $5.1 billion sale to Siemens AG.
On April 2, Dotmatics announced that it signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Siemens AG for $5.1 billion. The transaction will strengthen Siemens’ and Dotmatics' ability to empower scientists through advanced software solutions that facilitate next-generation collaboration, contextualize complex data, and accelerate research using AI.
Willkie previously advised Insight Partners on its acquisition of Dotmatics in 2021, and subsequently advised Dotmatics on numerous add-on acquisitions and financing transactions.
