Willkie Adds Private Equity Partners Larry Hall and Jon Platt in Dallas

New York, NY (April 22, 2025) --- Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP today announced that Larry Hall and Jon Platt have joined the Firm as partners in the Corporate & Financial Services Department and Private Equity and Energy practice groups. They are based in the Firm’s Dallas office.

Larry, a top-ranked corporate attorney, maintains a broad transactional practice, with significant experience in the energy sector. He advises private equity-backed and private capital-backed oil and gas companies in upstream and midstream transactions, including acquisition and divestment transactions, exploration and development participation arrangements, equity funding and other financing arrangements, and restructuring matters. 

A nationally recognized leader in his field, Jon represents public and private companies and private equity funds and their portfolio companies in mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, commercial transactions and general corporate matters. His practice focuses on the energy, infrastructure and technology industries.

Together, their additions further enhance Willkie’s growing transactional capabilities in Texas and firmwide. Larry and Jon join Willkie from Baker Botts L.L.P.
