Willkie is serving as legal advisor to Pearl Energy Investments, a Dallas-based private equity firm, in connection with the formation of Slant Energy III, an upstream oil and gas exploration and production company.
Slant III, headquartered in Lafayette, Louisiana, will pursue acquisition and development opportunities in the Permian Basin region of West Texas and New Mexico.
