Willkie Advises Atlantic Financial Group on Acquisition of Société Générale Guinée

Willkie is advising Atlantic Financial Group, a Pan-African banking group, on the acquisition of Societe Generale’s majority stake in its Guinean subsidiary, Société Générale Guinée.
On September 20, Societe Generale announced that it signed an agreement to sell its subsidiary based in Conakry, Guinea, to Atlantic Financial Group. Under the agreement, Atlantic Financial Group will acquire Societe Generale’s 57.93% stake in Société Générale Guinée and take over all of the bank’s operations.
Societe Generale is a top-tier European bank serving approximately 25 million clients in 65 countries worldwide.
