Willkie advised Community Brands, a leading provider of cloud-based software, services and payment solutions, on the sale of its Association & Events and Nonprofit Solutions divisions to TA Associates, forming a new strategic platform, Momentive Software.
On July 9, Community Brands, a portfolio company of Insight Partners, announced the acquisition by TA Associates and its name change to Momentive Software.
Founded in 2017, Community Brands provides cloud-based business operations software and payment solutions to mission-driven associations, nonprofits and social good organizations.
The Willkie team was led by partners Matthew Guercio and Andrew Marmer and included associate Brannock Furey and law clerks Leah Berger and Katherine Sears.
