Willkie advised Veeam Software, a leader in data protection solutions and portfolio company of Insight Partners, on its acquisition of Coveware, a leading provider in cyber-extortion incident response.
Veeam, the #1 leader by market share in Data Protection and Ransomware Recovery, announced the acquisition of Coveware on April 23. Coveware will offer forensics and remediation capabilities through the Veeam Data Platform, as well as proactive services to Veeam Cyber Secure customers.
Willkie previously advised Insight Partners on its acquisition of Veeam in 2020, and represented Veeam in its subsequent acquisition of Kasten.
The Willkie team was led by partners Morgan Elwyn and Ziyad Aziz and included associates Timothy Sullivan and Nicolas Maetta.
