On December 21, 2023, Willkie client Expofaro, a leading Colombian manufacturing company based in Medellin, entered into an agreement to sell certain assets to Levi Strauss Colombia S.A.S., a subsidiary of the international clothing company Levi Strauss & Co.
Through this deal, Expofaro will continue manufacturing clothes for Levi Strauss, and Levi Strauss will directly operate its brand in Colombia through 40 stores and 50 franchises around Colombia.
The Willkie team was led by partner Maria-Leticia Ossa Daza and included associate Rubini Wu and visiting foreign associate Gonzalo Orrego.
